The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) is a voluntary association of 16 municipal and county governments serving a regional community. Since 1967, PPACG has worked to ensure that local governments have a forum to discuss issues that cross their political boundaries, identify shared opportunities and challenges, and develop collaborative strategies for action.
The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments administers the Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority (PPRTA), an innovative mechanism for local transportation funding.
Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) is a nationally recognized system of public libraries serving a population of more than 535,000 in El Paso County, Colorado. With thirteen facilities, online resources, and mobile library service, PPLD responds to the unique needs of individual neighborhoods and the community at large.
